Where My Girls At: Meet Two of Ferguson's Black Queer Activists
I am little late on posting this... but here is a really interesting perspective on the violence in Ferguson/Baltimore.
I'm a huge fan of this article - it's so important to hear these voices. I love that they're centering their movement around love and insist that making people uncomfortable and being arrested is just part of that process. I'm really impressed with the creativity and commitment that their activism demands as well - especially when she admits to being really anxious while they're protesting. I can't imagine how scary that must be.
